Judith A. "Judy" Reed | 76

December 7, 1945 - February 14, 2022

Judith A. “Judy” Reed, 76, of 207 Elm Road, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 14, 2022, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born December 7, 1945, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Joseph and Miriam Dunbar Stan. She was a graduate of Conemaugh High School, Class of 1963. Judy spent over 40 years of her life in St. Marys and was a founding team member and long-time manager of the St. Marys McDonalds. She also worked at American Axle, from where she retired.

On November 30, 1963, in Johnstown, Judy married Robert E. “Bob” Reed, who survives. She is also survived by two daughters: Amy Cribbs (Mike) of St. Marys and Lori Iorfida (Jeff) of St. Marys; by a son, Scott Reed (Jeri Furman) of Apollo, PA; by five grandchildren: Cody Cribbs (Alyssa), Casey Dacquisto (Jarrod), A.J. Reed (Carly Gromel), Abbey Barber (Scott), and Bobby Reed (Hannah Speciale); by two great-grandchildren: Lena Cribbs and Cody Barber; and by her sister, Nancy Adams of Johnstown.

Judy enjoyed her life, she cherished her time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed playing regularly.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

A private Funeral Service will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to Penn Highlands Community Nurses, 757 Johnsonburg Road, Suite 200, St. Marys, PA 15857.

  16. Judy will be greatly missed. I don’t think I ever met a person that worked harder than her. I hope she gets to lean back and rest in heaven.
    She certainly was a special person I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to work with her. She raised an awesome family.
