Andrew F. Grazioli, 81, of 191 Cuneo Road, Kersey, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, after a brief illness.
He was born June 25, 1939, in Kersey, son of the late Celso and Caroline Copello Grazioli. Andrew was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Kersey Schools. He was a retired employee of the former Airco Carbon/Speers, retiring in 2000 after 40 years of service.
On February 11, 1961, in the Queen of the World Church, Andrew married Phyllis M. Wendel, who survives. He is also survived by his children: Cletus Grazioli (Becky) of Kersey; Russell Grazioli (Chris) of Ridgway; and Gwyn Lenox (Mike) of Kersey; eight grandchildren: Cole Grazioli, Clay Grazioli, Claire Grazioli, Paige Grazioli, Tye Grazioli, Connor Grazioli, Colby Lenox, and Kyler Lenox; a sister, Colette Grazioli; and by a brother, Charles Grazioli (Jo Ann) of Kersey.
In addition to his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Herbstritt.
Andrew was a member of the St. Boniface Church and had served in the United States National Guard for six years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Andrew always had a project to accomplish. He loved spending time with his friends, whether it was going out for breakfast, hanging out at camp, or just simply visiting. Most of all, Andrew’s grandchildren were such a joy to him, as he was to them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Monday, November 23, 2020, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Justin Pino officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held in the St. Boniface Church Gathering Space on Monday morning, from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, 8815 Conroy Windermere Road, Suite 309, Orlando, FL 32835.
