Barbara J. Neubert, 79, of 1432 Rosely Road, St. Marys, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the Elk Haven Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 18, 1941, in Sinnemahoning, PA, daughter of the late Andrew and Hattie Aunkst Kuppelweiser. Barbara attended Emporium Schools and had been a resident of St. Marys since 1963. She was a member of the Queen of the World Church.
On May 25, 1963, in the St. James Church in Driftwood, Barbara married Kenneth J. Neubert, who preceded her in death on June 20, 2006.
She is survived by two daughters: Karen Neubert of Spring Mills, PA and Sharon Streich and her husband Kenneth of Ridgway; a son, Michael A. Neubert of Kersey; and by a grandson, Ethan Streich.
In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister in infancy.
There will be no public visitation.
Funeral and committal services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery in Sinnemahoning.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Elk Haven Nursing Home, 785 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.

I haven’t seen Barb for awhile, and she looks a lot like her mother, but when I was young, I spent many a great day fishing with her Dad, playing board games with her or eating her Mother’s cooking, which was some of the best in the country. I hope she didn’t suffer and now she is in GOD’s hands.
