Rochelle Huet Laird | 57

June 8, 1966 - February 16, 2024

Rochelle Huet Laird, 57, of St. Marys and formerly of the Philippines, passed away peacefully at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport on Friday, February 16, 2024.

She was born June 8, 1966 in Bulan, Sorsogon, Philippines, daughter of the late Artemio and Sophia Magante Huet. On September 24, 1988 in Cherry Point, NC, she married William T. Laird, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Rochelle is survived by her daughter, Angela Laird (Patrick Sheeley, Jr.) of Kersey and her son, Anthony Laird (Caitlin Null) of Conway, SC; a step-grandchild, Ashland; her siblings: Rolando Huet, Roberto Huet (Gloria), Roselyn Orate (Ranulfo), Rhodora Soto, Rowena Cabural (Arnel), and Ronnie Huet; her father-in-law, LeRoy Laird of St. Marys; her brother-in-law, James Laird (Mary Jo) of St. Marys; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Rodento Huet, Rodgil Jesus Huet, and Ronald Huet, in childhood; and her mother-in-law, Helen Laird.

Rochelle enjoyed the company of others.  She enjoyed going to the casino and never missed a game of Bingo.  She cherished her time with her family and supported her son in every motor cross race in which he competed.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rochelle will be celebrated in Queen of the World Church on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10:00AM with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, celebrating.  Burial will be in Bulan, Sorsogon, Philippines, alongside her mother.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to a favorite charity of one’s choosing.

  1. Rochelle worked for us for a number of years at MexAmerica Foods. She was a well-liked, hard working employee with a great sense of humor. Rochelle was one who always appreciated her job, and we really appreciated her! Not only are we saddened to learn of her passing, but also know that she’s in a better place.
