Virginia L. "Ginny" Bogacki | 81

December 28, 1942 - November 16, 2023

Virginia L. “Ginny” Bogacki, 81, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of N. Mill Street in Ridgway, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Elk Haven.

She was born December 28, 1942, in Knoxdale, PA, daughter of the late Joshua and Esther Dickey Sebring and was a graduate of Brookville High School.  Ginny and her husband, Donald, moved to St. Marys in the late 60s where they started their lives together and raised their family.

Along with her husband, Donald, Ginny is survived by her two sons: Todd Bogacki and his wife, Donna, of Ridgway and Shawn Bogacki and his wife, Alicia, of St. Marys; five grandchildren: Justin Knode, April Knode, Nicholas Bogacki, Bryannah Bogacki, and Joshua Bogacki; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Doris Pearce of Ohio and Margie Flick of York, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Marie Bush, Junie Bush, and Gerry Miller; and one brother, Albert Sebring.

Ginny was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ridgway as well as First United Methodist Church in St. Marys over the years.  She loved the Christmas season and everything that it represented.  She accumulated countless ornaments and collectibles specific to the holidays.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished each moment with her family.

A funeral service for Ginny will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 11:00AM, with Rev. Ann Foor, officiating.

Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 9:00AM until the time of service.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
