Linda M. Bobenrieth | 74

March 10, 1946 - February 10, 2021

Linda M. Bobenrieth, 74, of 1160 Monroe Road, St. Marys, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born March 10, 1946, in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Anthony and Rita Dixon Keller.  Linda was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Ridgway Schools.  She was a retired employee of Carlisle Industries in Ridgway, retiring after 27 years of service.

On February 17, 1961, in St. Marys, Linda married Anthony J. Bobenrieth, Sr., who preceded her in death on September 12, 2017.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine Anderson and her husband John of Ridgway; four sons: Anthony J. Bobenrieth, Jr. and his wife Bernice of Toby; Brian M. Bobenrieth and his wife Jackie of Daguscahonda; Sean E. Bobenrieth and his wife Tammy of St. Marys; and Christopher J. Bobenrieth of St. Marys; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and by two brothers: Michael Keller of Kersey and Anthony “Butch” Keller and his wife Violet of Ridgway.

In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Seana Bobenrieth; and by her sister, Marie Dilley.

Linda was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she helped with the Funeral Bereavement Dinners.  She was also a member of the Elk County Cursillo Movement and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  Linda enjoyed traveling and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB, Pastor, officiating.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN  38101-9908.

  6. Aunt Linda was the strongest most loving Aunt. My heart is broken. Heaven gained another angel. I know this is not good but until we meet again. She is now reunited with loved ones who went home already. Prayers to all my cousins, may the Lord give you strength and healing during this sad time. This world is not our home we are just passing through. Thank you Lord for blessing our family with such a beautiful soul. Aunt Linda I will never forget the love you and Uncle Buck showed me. Rest in Paradise. Prayers to my family for healing.
